Wigan Athletic signed as Football Manager official partner
The studio initially partnered with Wigan last season, with Football Manager branding appearing on the back of the Latics’ home and away shirts as they sealed the League One title.
With the Lancashire club now back in the second tier, we’ve signed a new deal that will see Football Manager branding appear on and surrounding the home and away dugouts at the DW Stadium for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
Richard Trafford, Sports Interactive’s Head of Partnerships and Business Development, said: “It is with great pleasure we announce this partnership with Wigan Athletic Football Club. The club has a strong affiliation with Football Manager and hope the second half of the season sees the club rise up the table under the stewardship of Kolo Touré, the first African international to manage in senior English football.”
Chief Executive at Wigan Athletic, Malachy Brannigan, added: “We are delighted to partner with Sports Interactive once again.
“SI are an international brand that need no introduction and have established themselves as industry leaders for a prolonged period.
"We are extremely proud to showcase their brand in the DW Stadium dugouts, and look forward to another successful partnership as we work together moving forward.”
