Using "Load Game" from the in-game "Options" menu

Some unofficial, third party skins offer the menu option "Load Game" from the in-game "Options" Menu. It is very important that you do not use this option if it is available.

If you investigate some of the XML files in the official skins shipped with the game, you will find that this option is commented out to make sure it is not available. There is a very important reason for this: It doesn't work and it will corrupt your savegame.

If you use this option to load a game while another game is already loaded and running, you are advised to quit the game without saving your game, because you are very likely to experience seemingly random crashes and otherwise unpredictable behaviour from the game if you attempt to load a game from within another game.

If you saved game you loaded while another game was already loaded (and you have no other backup of your game), it is highly recommended you start a new game, because there is no way of knowing the consistency of your current save game.
