After display of the initial game splash screens the application exits to windows desktop and nothing happens.

First please ensure you have the latest Football Manager 2005 patch installed.

Also please ensure debugger software is not installed in the system. If you do not have any debugger software installed but continue to experience this problem, please contact Sega or Sports Interacive (via the Support forum on the message board) for technical support.
