If you get an error "Cannot locate the CD-ROM" when trying to start the game, then there may be various causes for this problem:

• First, please refer to the article covering "Safedisc problems"
• It can also be spyware or ad-ware, software that are automatically installed without your knowledge when you install some other software. What you should do is download spyware checking like AdAware (www.adaware.com) and scan your PC for spyware.  Remove all traces of spyware.  Reboot your machine and try again.
• Right click the shortcut for the game (ie FM06), choose "Properties", then "Compatibility", tick the box and select "Windows NT".
• If you have mutliple cd- and/or dvd-rom drives in your computer, try to put the disk in the other drive(s). Sometimes SafeDisc seems to get confused as to which drive the product was installed from.

• Error: You are receiving the Error ‘Product Key already Active’ message
• TROUBLESHOOT: Out of memory errors
• ERROR: Cannot run game:Failed to set up graphics system
• You are receiving the Error [-10]
• INFO: FM2007 Folder Locations

• You are receiving the Error [-10]
• Phone activation fails - Drops out after 3rd key issue
• ERROR: Cannot run game:Failed to set up graphics system
• You are receiving the error: ‘This application has failed to start because saAuditMD.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem’
• You are receiving the error: ‘FM2009 could not run as ‘facegen’ was unable to initialize!’
