System Information (msinfo) is a tool that comes with Windows that can be used to provide additional information about your system that might help us in helping you to figure out what might be wrong.
To create your MSINFO details:
Any Windows Version
-
Click "Start" menu

Go to "Programs"
-
Then "Accessories"
-
and open "System Tools"
-
Run "System Information"
-
Choose "File" and then "Save"
-
Save the file to a location easily found
-
Let System Information complete (it comes up with a dialog, and may take a while)
Alternative you can run it from the "Run.." dialog:
Windows 98/ME

Click on the "Start" menu, select "Run..." and type "msinfo32" and select "Ok".

When the Microsoft System Information program opens, select "File" and select "Export".

Save the information as "msinfo.txt" to your desktop or other easily found location.

Email the file to the Sports Interactive employee who asked for the file.
Windows 2000/XP and above

Click on the "Start" menu, select "Run..." and type "msinfo32" (without the quotes) and select "Ok".

When the Microsoft System Information program opens, select "System Information" select "Save text report".

Save the information as "msinfo.txt" to your desktop or another easily found location.

Email the file to the Sports Interactive employee who asked for the file.
Mac OS X
-
Open Finder.
-
Go to "Applications".

Go to "Utilities".
-
Double click "System Profiler".

From the menubar, choose "File" and click "Save As...".

Save the file as a System Profiler 4.0 XML file - remember the location and name you give the file.

Provide this file as an attachment to an e-mail (or possibly forum post if requested).
