If there's one thing at Sports Interactive that we all have as common ground it's a passionate love for the game of football. It's for this reason that we like to be involved and support many different projects within the football community.

Our most famous connection is as the main shirt sponsor of AFC Wimbledon, but they are not our only link with the footballing world. Below is a summary of some of the links we currently hold with teams from all over the world and at all different levels.

AFC Wimbledon

Sports Interactive have been AFC Wimbledon's main shirt sponsors since the club's inception in 2002, when the club were set up by a group of fans as the group of players they had been supporting were all moved 90 miles north to play for a new club who had been awarded Wimbledon's league place by the football authorities. In nine short years they have achieved amazing feats, rising 5 divisions from the semi-pro Combined Counties League (level 9 of the English football pyramid) to League 2, and SI are both honoured and excited to be a part of this journey.

In addition to the men's senior team SI also sponsor the women's side & all levels of the Dons' youth system.

Watford

SI have been commercial partners with Watford since 2010, partnering the club's ground-breaking Harefield Academy that is bringing through the club's next generation of stars. In addition to this we also sponsor the Vicarage Road scoreboard as well as taking out ad hoardings at the ground.

This season we have proudly extended our involvement to include the shirt sponsorship, with the home shirt sporting the 'Football Manager', and the away shirt the 'Football Manager Handheld' logos.

York City

SI have been involved with York City since sponsoring the "Save York City" football tournament in 2002, which helped raise money to keep the club afloat after relegation from the Football League. As the club stabilised under new ownership we remained involved by sponsoring two players each year in the club's highly successful youth system.

QPR Ladies

SI supports women's football by sponsoring two QPR Ladies senior players every season – a partnership that started back in 2007/08 and has continued ever since.

Azalea BK

Azalea are one of Gothenburg's biggest youth clubs, containing 650 players in youth groups from age 5 to 19. SI sponsor the U15s side, helping them to compete in national and overseas cups in addition to their normal league competition.

California Cobras

California Cobras are the under 9's team of California FC and play in the East Berkshire Youth League in which they finished fourth last term. They rounded off a great first competitive season by also winning the East Berkshire u9's Football League Trophy. Six of the team also train with Reading Development which is one level down from their Academy. Stars of the future, mark our words!
